In the days I spent at Amangiri resort, I hiked, climbed, walked through slot canyons, went horseback riding and ‘boated’ at Lake Powell, but nothing compared to the place experience itself: such may be the boldness of the dwelling along with the surreal beauty of the encompassing environment, that you simply can’t help but merely wallow in it and check out to experience it all. Sitting with the desert lounge, involved with my cashmere blanket, I enjoyed the unrivaled Aman service, the understated elegance, and merely couldn’t have sufficient of the ever changing magical desert light and also the star-lit skies.

Amangiri Resort Reviews :

Beautiful minimalist architecture in a secluded, stunning location.

We took two connecting flights from Phoenix to reach Page. Hired a car and drove to the resort – which was around 20 minutes from the airport. The last few kilometres drive into the resort from the main road are just magical. We stayed for three nights, however, would recommend four.

We Disliked

- Not much!
- A coffee machine and tea making facilities would be a nice inclusion.
- F & B and service was hit & miss.
- The exterior methylated spirits fireplace on the terrace was a bit of a fizzle.

We made the mistake of driving down to the Grand Canyon. It was a long drive and really not worth it. Should have visited Lake Powell instead. We preferred the scenery at Amangiri resort over the Grand Canyon.

Amangiri resort is simply wonderful. The desert is mesmerising, the rooms immaculately appointed, the spa unparalleled. Truly magnificent.

We drove across from Los Angeles via a stay in Las Vegas and a tour of Zion Canyon. Stayed in a Mesa View Pool Suite. The view is simply divine. Tranquil, private and incredibly beautiful. Two small wishes: A wood burning fire in the room and that the pool in our suite had a better view. It is very expensive (hence four stars for value) but this is tied with Post Ranch Inn for our best US holiday.

Staff are courteous and very accommodating.
